Welcome to the Boys & Girls Club Komatke Branch
Our Branch serves the Gila River Native American Community in Komatke. We are on the west end of the reservation. Our sister Club in Sacaton is 35 miles away on the east end of the reservation. We are just a few miles southwest of Phoenix. Although we are part of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the East Valley, we are unique in that we are also part of the Boys and Girls Clubs in Native America. Here in the Gila River community, there is no place for youth to go to just “hang out.” The kids quickly become bored. The Club has become a haven for many of these children.
Calendar of Events
- Nov. 25th we are having our Thanksgiving dinner for our community from 5:30-6:00pm
- Club closed Thanksgiving Day and day after November 27-28th
- Club Christmas party for club members only December 12th 5pm-7pm
- Winter Break hours for December 22nd & 23rd, December 29th & 30th 9am-5pm Members Choice of Program Areas
- Cal Ripken Sr. Foundation Baseball Fall Program ends December 19th. Will resume for Spring ’09 March
- Outlit Performing Arts Program year round meet bi-weekly on Friday’s at 5pm
