Welcome to the Gila River Branch - Komatke
Our Branch serves the Gila River Native American Community in Komatke. We are on the west end of the reservation. Our sister Club in Sacaton is 35 miles away on the east end of the reservation. We are just a few miles southwest of Phoenix. Although we are part of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the East Valley, we are unique in that we are also part of the Boys and Girls Clubs in Native America. Here in the Gila River community, there is no place for youth to go to just “hang out.” The kids quickly become bored. The Club has become a haven for many of these children. We also serve children in the Town of Laveen.
